I hope this blog post finds you well. I'm Amit Suthar, a BCA student at Maharaja Sayajirao University. Recently, I wrapped up my 5th-semester college project – an Android application. Let me take you through the journey of Quiz24, the brainchild of my five teammates and me, with Ms. Pooja Patel as our project guide.
About Quiz24:
Quiz24, crafted using Android Studio with Java for the backend, XML for the frontend, and Firebase for the database, is more than just an app it's a whole Dhamaal. It's a platform where you can not only create quizzes but also dive into a world of exciting quizzes created by others. The app keeps track of your quiz statistics, and you can personalize your experience by adding interests. Receive notifications when a new quiz aligning with your interests is published.
Quiz creation offers flexibility with two types – public and private. Public quizzes can be easily searched by name or topics, while private quizzes require a key for access. To ensure fair play, we've implemented anti-cheating measures. If you try to exit the application during a quiz, be prepared for continuous notifications and a timer. Fail to return, and your quiz adventure comes to an end.
Journey of the Project:
This project marked my initiation into teamwork, a journey filled with learning and camaraderie. A shoutout to my amazing teammates and our guide, Ms. Pooja Patel. Creating Quiz24 was an adventure – from the early mornings to late evenings in the library. We faced challenges, had lively discussions, and supported each other through thick and thin. The funny discussions during lunch breaks and the tension leading up to the project presentation are etched in our memories.
